About Us

"Thrillingly talented people" Guardian

We make theatre with a wild sense of humour, strength of character and a delight in bringing people together.

Past productions include the award-winning Building Palaces, Best in the World and Lands of Glass. We tour nationally to theatres and festivals, as well as creating site-specific performances.

Participation fuels our creativity. Every show we make sits within a programme of artistically ambitious projects with children, young people and community groups. Their thoughts, ideas and stories are at the heart of our creative process.

We work with artists we admire to help them develop exciting performances and projects. Recent collaborations include Kathryn Tickell's Northumbrian Voices and The Sage Gateshead's Honky Tonk Angels.
