Unfolding Theatre Joins Create Growth

We are delighted to announce that Unfolding Theatre will join the North East Create Growth Programme with Creative UK.

Unfolding Theatre is excited to announce that it has joined Creative UK’s North East Create Growth Programme. The programme will take place over six months and aims to support businesses prepare for investment.

The first, introductory workshop took place at Northern Stage, and included talks from Investment manager Rahul Misra and a session based on visions and values, and the development of business plans.

The session was attended by our Artistic Director Annie Rigby who said this about Unfolding Theatre joining the programme:

“Working in the creative industries in its current climate is really challenging, so it’s really important that we find new ways to think, broaden the ways in which we work and take every opportunity we can to learn. That’s why joining the new Create Growth cohort is so exciting. Connecting with other brilliant businesses provides us with a breadth of new opportunities and broadens our community.

We need to be agile; we need to be able to see the value of our work in new and different contexts. Challenging times require change and Create Growth gives us another chance to change the way we look at how we work and what we achieve through new connections and workshops.”
