Blog post time with Phoebe!
Hi I’m Phoebe I am a helper who is doing working experience with Unfolding Theatre let me just say this company and the people are great and so polite and lovely. I have been here for 1 week to do working expreience and it has been amazing! I have been doing some work on the website and learning all different type of edits and samples. I have also been to see the show of Here Be Dragons and here is my experience down below!
So when I walked in it was a brilliant place, brilliant atmosphere and the staff were lovely and had a good comfy seats. First the actors were impeccable, the singing was fabulous and overall had the best atmosphere. The energy was through the roof; it was so good to see where the relationships were with Deaf performer EJ and Caroline (the BSL Interpreter) and with Adrien and Hannabiell and Tim. The sound and lightning was very good - just the whole show was amazing. I think the next show there should be a bigger arena and stage and make it into an actual show at all the empires, and have the same actors but more people and to show what the deaf world is all about with EJ. I feel EJ was a huge role model for the deaf kids and show the deaf can do anything they aspire and acheive to be. The main character Em called Adrien Spencer had the biggest energy with the singing and acting hopefully she will succeed in the future because she deserves to! The Mum Motsi is called Hannabiell Sanders and Grandad Mac called Tim Dalling were amazing singers and they made all the music (I found out that fact at the end!) The music was immaculate I was vibing to the music it was such a good show, great atmosphere, great people and just a wonderful and lovely show. If I was the mayor I would be one hundred percent willing to give them money, so the can tour all over the city in schools and even empires they were outstanding. Well done cast!
