Join an exciting performing arts workshop series led by Northeast-based actor, writer and director Alex Elliott. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge from stage to screen, having worked with renowned companies including Northern Stage, Quarantine, Kneehigh, Leeds Playhouse and Unfolding Theatre.
As a founding member of Northern Stage Ensemble (1998–2005), Alex performed leading roles in acclaimed productions such as A Clockwork Orange, Edmond, Homage to Catalonia and Manifesto for a New City. He is now Artistic Director of Operating Theatre, creating bold and thought-provoking work exploring health and social issues.
These workshops are designed to be collaborative, supportive and shaped by you. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, develop performance techniques, or explore new creative skills, Alex will tailor sessions to reflect the interests and goals of the group.
Perfect for anyone interested in drama and performance, this series offers a unique opportunity to learn from an experienced practitioner in a welcoming and creative environment.
