“Chiming, harmonising, enchanting.”
Ever heard a glass orchestra? An incredible band invites you to run away to the unforgettable town of Quinnipak.
There you’ll meet the glassmaker, dreaming of a crystal palace, the musician searching for notes only he can hear, and the orphan trying not to grow into the coat that is his destiny.
This music theatre adaptation brings best-selling Italian novelist Alessandro Baricco’s wonderful, hilarious world of imagination to UK audiences for the first time, featuring live music played on specially created glass instruments: marimbas, chimes, bells, even a Sauvignon-blancophone.
Lands of Glass toured to Battersea Arts Centre, National Glass Centre, Summerhall, Northern Stage, Harrogate Theatre, Trouble at Mill (Leeds) and The Lowry from 2014 to 2015. Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us along the way.

A Street Like This is a new production from Unfolding Theatre about the unexpected friendships that arise when something unforeseen happens, changing the way people define themselves forever.
Set – and created - in Sunderland, A Street Like This explores what unifies people in a city, where division exists, and what keeps people apart. What change could happen in a city like Sunderland that reminds us we’ve got more in common than divides us?
